Custom post type page is throwing 404 error

Each theme with built-in custom post types (including ours, of course) requires rebuild of permalink structure after installation.

So, if your event/priest/church/testimonial/etc page doesn’t work – throwing 404 error to be precise – just go to Settings -> Permalinks and after choosing appropriate configuration (month and name is good enough) hit Save changes.

I need an urgent help. What to do?

Please note that urgent tickets are used for very big problems or issues. So, please don’t use it if you want to change color of your navigation or Google font or you want to have different sidebars on pages A and B.

If you are experiencing behavior which is different from promoted one or your site is down after making some changes in code, then please use an urgent ticket. Make sure to include URL of your site as well as credentials for temporary user which will be used by our team (tickets are private and you can send login details immediately without worries).

Please, don’t try to contact us via email, because members of our support team don’t use it.

Please please please, don’t send another ticket in the same thread, because you will move down in the waiting queue.

Make sure that you read terms and conditions of this site, as well as guidelines and policies.

Thank you!

How to update your themes

The fastest way is to use plugins like this one: Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades

  1. Download the latest zip file for your theme (directly from your TF account).
  2. Log into your WordPress site.
  3. Go to Appearance > Themes.
  4. Click the “Add New” button at the top of the page.
  5. Click the “Upload Theme” button at the top of the page.
  6. Click the file browse button to select your theme zip file. The button’s text varies by browser. It typically says “Browse…”, “Choose File”, or “Choose…”.
  7. Select the zip file with the new theme version to install.
  8. Select “Yes” from the “Upgrade existing theme?” option.
  9. Click the “Install Now” button.

Images in demo content

Some of our customers asked why do they see blurred or different images than those used on our demo sites.

Explanation is very simple: due to copyright policies and rules of Theme Forest, we are not allowed to provide original premium images in our demo content. Therefore, authors (including us) are using either placeholder images or blurred ones. Images that are under CC3.0 license are served without blur effect.

If you want to use premium images, you will need to purchase them first. We will be more than happy to provide exact URLs of specific images used on our demo site.

Menu disappear when screen is resized

Javascript is responsible for responsive menu and it is being generated during initial page loading on screens smaller than 992px. That’s why if you just simply resize the browser menu will disappear. But don’t worry, try to refresh the page and you will see that menu will appear.

Seamless Donations not showing employer/occupation field

The Seamless donations plugin works as far as processing the transaction, but two important fields under the Donor tap are not displaying: “Occupation” and “Employer”. It is a requirement by the federal government to report these two pieces of information.

This is a bug in plugin itself. Employer and occupation data are saved in database, but it is not shown on appropriate listing pages. We’ve reported it to the authors.

Anyway, columns dedicated to employer and occupation were left empty on donors list index.

Solution is very simple. It will require a bit of hardcoding, but hopefully authors will fix this in future releases.

1. Go to wp-content/plugins/seamless-donations/cpt/cpt-donors.php (before changes, it is recommended to backup this file)
2. find these lines:

public function cell_donor_employer ( $sCell, $iPostID ) { // cell_{post type}_{column key}
return esc_attr ( get_post_meta ( $iPostID, '_dgx_donate_donor_employer', true ) );
public function cell_donor_occupation ( $sCell, $iPostID ) { // cell_{post type}_{column key}
return esc_attr ( get_post_meta ( $iPostID, '_dgx_donate_donor_occupation', true ) );

and change them to read:

public function cell_donor_employer ( $sCell, $iPostID ) { // cell_{post type}_{column key}
return esc_attr ( get_post_meta ( $iPostID, '_dgx_donate_employer', true ) );
public function cell_donor_occupation ( $sCell, $iPostID ) { // cell_{post type}_{column key}
return esc_attr ( get_post_meta ( $iPostID, '_dgx_donate_occupation', true ) );

3. save and you will see matching fields in donors list

NOTE: Make sure to complete steps above if you experience this problem again after the upgrade.
